Strasbourg: Journalists' Foe or Friend?
The UK Press Freedom Network, with support from UNESCO, The Society of Editors and the BBC College of Journalism, is holding a public event to mark World Press Freedom Day.
This year's event will look at media freedom and the rule of law in Europe.
We have gathered together prominent journalists, lawyers and politicians for the occasion, which will feature a panel including Lord Fowler, Geoffrey Robertson QC and Aidan White, and an open discussion chaired by Clive Anderson.
