A soldier killed in a blast in southern Afghanistan recently was also a Frontline blogger. Lieutenant Paul Mervis of 2nd Battalion, The Rifles, died on foot patrol near Sangin, in Helmand, last Friday.
The 27-year-old, from London, was the second man from his platoon to be killed in less than two weeks. He'd been writing for the MoD's official blog.
You can find official posts from soldiers stationed in Afghanistan on Twitter, Facebook and YouTube.
