Tuesday 26 October, BBC Television Centre, London.
Do you feel a twit when you tweet? Do you get lost when you lurk?
The BBC College of Journalism will be running a series of Twitter Clinics every Tuesday lunchtime until December aimed at basic and advanced tweeters, starting with a session on the basics next Tuesday 26 October.
For either course you MUST have already set up a Twitter account and be familiar with how to tweet, reply and send direct messages. You must have tweeted a number of times.
The BASICS course will give clear instruction on the dos and don'ts of tweeting, offering advice on creating a profile and working out what to tweet; how to search for case studies and follow conversations; find people to follow and create basic lists.
The ADVANCED course is designed to extend your basic Twitter skills. It will cover advanced search; listening to conversations and keeping across breaking news; how to verify tweets; build your followers; how to use and get the best out of TweetDeck; and a range of other key Twitter tools.
Bring your lunch and, if you use it to tweet, your phone.
