The Today programme's Design-A-Radio Competition
Radio 4's Today Programme ran a competition to commemorate their move back to Broadcasting House later this year. The idea was to design a 'skin' for a digital radio, then sell that radio to raise money for BBC Children in Need. Find out more about the competition and the winning design.
Elbow's Olympic theme "First Steps" to raise money for BBC Children in Need
The BBC's specially-composed Olympics theme, "First Steps" by Elbow, is now available to download - and BBC Children in Need will benefit from every copy that's officially downloaded!
BBC NI Summer Story Fest
BBC Northern Ireland is working with local authors and storytellers this summer to bring hands on reading and writing activities to children aged 4-11. BBC Children in Need are delighted to be part of the event and even Pudsey himself will make an appearance!
An Olympic Dream!
One of the projects supported by BBC Children in Need will be involved in the Olympic Games Opening Ceremony! Children from "The Big Project" in Edinburgh will sing "Flower of Scotland" as part of a video montage.
Pudsey and the Torch Relay
Pudsey got into the Olympic spirit on Thursday 26 July as the Olympic Torch relay came to the BBC Children in Need offices in West London.
