My children (girls 4 & 6) love this show (as do my wife and I!)

It's so nice to see a fresh idea which incorporates learning and fun using 'puppets' these days.Ben has a really good,natural way with the 'tiddlers' and the songs are infectious! Good stuff!

Love Mr Blooms Nursery , My little boy (aged 2) never sits down to much programs but when it starts he dances to the theme tune and actually watches it! Love the way my lil boy can learn about veg in a fun way! have to say tho once i hear the tune its with me all day :) great work Ben

Dear Mr Bloom,

My 3 year old completely loves your show! We watch 2 or 3 episodes every day on I-player! We have started making veggies from playdoh, and yesterday at the supermarket we had to buy a butternut squash, which now has googly eyes, and is her favourite thing! She is always out in the garden pretending to plant seeds, and talking to her veggies!



Thank you so much for making the show, please tell the people in charge at cbeebies how much we love it. It's brilliant to see a show doing something different, really approachable for boys and girls. Never thought my dd would be excited about butternut squash and fennel! I hope you do a live tour, and please please make sure cbeebies give you another season!

Would have to say Ben, your songs are downright catchy and at 2am in the morning when Ive woken up to sort my 2 year old out, "Meet the Veggies" is going around and around in my head.



Its a great idea, my son loves the songs and the puppets arent that annoying! Besides its quite funny seeing a grown man dance in welly boots and a hat, which my 2 year old wants now!



Wd on a very innovative programme that isnt too sickly sweet or politically correct

My 3 year old daughter loves Mr Bloom. We tape it every day and hope that another series is going to be on the cards???

Have to agree about the songs tho - am constantly singing "With my veg and plants... I can sing and dance...". Driving my hubby nuts but makes the wee one dance :). Top series! Helen-O

Hi. My 2 year old little girl absolutley loves the programme, we have both learnt the song and she has to watch them over again. She even pointed to the screen today and asked me when she can go there, Bless her. The programme is fantastic and its really nice for children to learn all about vegetables and gardening. My little girl has asked me if we can plant some vegetables, so thats our plan for the weekend.

Fantastic show. One strange side-effect of Mr Bloom's Nursery is that our daughter now shows more of an interest in vegetables and eating them! Suffice to say that "Raymond" was a very popular addition to a pasta bake the other week. Just don't tell Mr Bloom!



The other side effect is that the various tunes and songs in the show really get stuck in your head. Humming "Meet the Veggies" around the office as a 43 year old is probably frowned upon but Mr Bloom's Nursery is a fantastic example of why BBC children's programming is the cream of the crop.

Just wanted to say thank you for helping to create such an inspirational show,My two year old daughter loves it very much especially Raymond :)Must say iv often found myself strumming "meet the veggies" tune on my guitar keep up the good work love it,Helen.

my daughter loves this programme and enjoys dancing along with the songs. it keeps her quiet for a little while at least!

My 4 year old little girl just loves the show and will sing & dance when it's on. She keeps asking if she can be a 'tiddler' one day... we live in Manchester... any chance??

My 3 year old daughter loves Mr Bloom's Nursery. It is brilliant. The songs are so catchy we're often singing them at home.

While out grocery shopping we now have to look out for Raymond, Sebastian, Margaret, Joan but especially Colin. We have had some strange looks from people when she shouts, "look Mummy, there's Colin" feeling so pleased with herself. She can't eat them though!

I look forward to 20 minutes complete peace, except for the singing.

Can you tell me if there are plans to release a Mr Bloom DVD?

My children like this and I am wondering if anyone has noticed that their children are more interested in eating fruit and veg. after seeing the show or even in gardening?

If so then keep up the good work !

I just wanted to let you know that my children (3 and 2) absolutely LOVE Mr Bloom's Nursery. They know all the words to all the songs and sing and dance their way through each episode.

My husband and I have renamed Colin 'Irritating Bean'. We wish he'd use full sentences, otherwise this is a wonderful programme!

Have you any plans to take it on tour again?

My son is 21 months and does enjoy your programme, we have started to have great fun in the garden and he planted his first seeds the other day: courgettes and carrots.

Ahhh Mr Bloom, we salute you! You have planted yourself into our lives and how lovely it is to have you here! Betty-Lou, my 2 1/2yr old daughter loves the show, Colin is her most favourite thing in the world at the moment!

Just to let you know, you have made bedtime a peaceful occurrence once again in our house. Betty-Lou was getting rather stroppy at bedtime until I asked her to be a 'quiet bean', (she stopped and pondered on the idea, decided it was a good one and began being quiet). I thought I would try and take it one stage further and asked her to be a quiet bean in bed, she said 'Only if you sing the goodnight veggies song Mummy!' Of course, I had to oblige, as I have to every night before her and her sister will go to sleep! Peaceful bedtimes have now been restored and I thank you for this!

We all love your show and long may it last! Well done!

My 3 year old son loves Mr Bloom! We have spent far far too much time on the cbeebies website playing the games and singing to the songs. Completely infectious! Thankyou so much Ben for bringing something new and refreshing to cbeebies (already the best channel on tv!). I love the fact that the puppets are a little more unusual and not the typical carrot,potato etc as i think this really helps open kids eyes to all sorts of veg that is out there that otherwise some kids might not ever get familiar with. Your interaction with the kids is natural and respectful, and never patronising or over the top, Thankyou xx

I agree with everyone else the songs are so catchy from the very first episode I was singing along and they really engage my 15 month old Amber. And it is all just quite original.

I hope there are more series in the pipeline or even Ben in other programmes (he's gorgeous!)?

My 3 year old and I love the songs from the show but it's true, you can't get them out of your head! I couldn't sleep the other night as 'Meet the veggies' was going round and round in my head. My little one has taken a real shine to Raymond - the other night as I was tucking him in singing 'Goodnight veggies, sleeptight veggies' he said 'Mummy, I'm Raymond the Squash'. I actually have to say 'Goodnight Raymond' now!! All good fun. Love it!

Well done on an excellent show Ben. My busy 2 year old loves it and is stopped dead in his tracks when he hears the theme tune. He loves Mr Bloom (I admit to liking him a bit too much too!) and our favourite veg are the harmonious onions, potatoes and peas.



More please, and a tour would be great!

Just wondered if there are any plans to bring out a DVD of Mr Bloom's Nursery in the near future. My granddaughter loves this programme and dances to all the songs and she is only one.

our girls Scarlett (3) and Bea (1) love your show they are singing meet the veggies as I type! We are currently creating our own ickle nursery, though mummy forgetting to label the veggies we have planted may make harvesting a bit interesting. Anywhoo we wondered if you would be doing any live shows again as the girls would love to meet you in person Mr Bloom and Margaret.

My grandaughter who is now only 6 months old..loves watching your programme - Mr Blooms Nursery.she .recognises the theme tune and gets very (very) excited, waving her arms and legs about when the song comes on. ...This is my allotment!...and goes mad when the bean appears! Lol..

Her mum and me were wondering if there are any shops selling the characters yet? Her favourite is Colin..the runnerbean!

I've never been one for turning the telly on ~ just to keep the kids quiet, but just to see one very happy baby, really enjoying herself watching your programme is 'blooming marvellous'! Keep up the good work!

We've had a recent addition to the family of our very own Raymond. We were on holiday and the kids started talking to the butternut squash that was on the kichen worktop! Each night they had to say goodnight to Raymond before they would go the bed.



I also now put them to bed singing the 'Goodnight veggies' song because I love it so much!

My two year old son loves this programe, so do I! Its fun, educational and actually encourages children to go outside! We spend alot of time in the garden, planting and watering etc...its nice to have a programme that backs up our way of life! Any chance of Mr Bloom and his veggies going on tour? My little one would be so excited to actually 'meet the veggies!' And please, if you do, make it accessible for us on lower incomes!

Mr Blooms Nursery has had a last effect on my son, James (aged 5). While out shopping in our local supermarket I spotted him hugging a Butternut Squash. It made me smile. My little girl loves our afternoons together watching the show. Keep up the great work x

Mr Blooms nursery is one of the fave programmes of my 7mth old daughter, who will actually twist and turn if shes not facing the tv, to make sure she can see it. Think its probably her second fave as her fave is waybuloo. [Edited]

What has happened to the Nursery? We live near the garden where it is filmed and I wanted to take my son there, but, when we went, it had all gone.... Does that mean there will be no more recordings?

My grandson who is 15 months old loves the programme and will dance to all the tunes, at the end of the show he will get his blanket,lie down with it and wait for Mr Bloom to sing night night veggies, so much fun to watch him, thank you Ben for having a great idea and holding onto it, well done. xxx

My three-year-old daughter has bloomed with our new allotment...!

Planting seeds, weeding, digging, painting our fences and new shed, and even bringing in scores of little pink wheelbarrow-loads of topsoil from the other end of our site have not been beyond her -- televisual inspiration from Mr Bloom, arriving around the same time that growing season on our new allotment began for us. (At home, Somerset-born Daddy lives not too far north of Manchester and looks and sounds like Mr Bloom!)

I have to say a massive 'Thank You' to Ben Faulks: my daughter is not only besotted by Colin the runner bean, she has been trying to identify EVERYTHING that we and our fellow plot-holders are growing -- and has been learning even the Latin names of some of our weeds. I can't thank everyone involved enough for the production of this series, both for the interest my daughter has developed in her environment, and for the deepening love she now shares with me for growing our own food.

my daughter is 3 and loves this programme. she was born with albinism and so is partially sighted (virtually blind in one eye and only half a metres vision in the other) and due to this has had numerous tactile phobias since birth. mr blooms nursery has got her so interested in the garden that she now enjoys planting and all sorts, something she has never done before due to her not wanting to touch soil grass etc. thank you mr bloom!!!

Hi I was just wondering if there are any plans to make any DVD's as my daughter absolutely adores this show and I quite like it too He He.

i am a grandmother and also love to watch the show with my grandaughter. margaret is a wonderful name for a cabbage and my lydias loves her best. we are hopeing to get tickets to the show if poss. thanks for all the good work you are doing, bringing happiness to so many kids
