@13-Oleta. I'm sure you're more suited to a nightclub than me - I'd probably have a panic attack because I have a phobia of loud noises :/ All that screaming and loud music.... :( It also means I've never shouted in my life, so I'd make a terrible actor!

That sardine in a tin thing is very true...I'll never understand what people like so much about overpopulated night clubs...too many sweaty drunk people in to little space with music so loud you'll be deaf for hours...seems mental...

@22-Ten. Same! I'm not claustrophobic in things like caves or lockers (I went to a tough school, we used to shut each other in lockers all the time :P ), but crowds really frighten me - especially if I know I can't easily get out.

17&22 @Megan and Tenbatsu: I didn't really enjoy clubs even when I was that age. Sadly a museum with a Teashop has always been more my style ;)

@24 @25 Yeah it freaks me out when I can't get through a crowd! Nothing else makes me feel so unable to breathe. I do love to dance the night away...but preferably in smaller and less hectic places! Plus...who wants to feel like they've got tinnitus?!

On a personal note I think I am going to have to invest in a boxed set. For multiple reasons I have resisted .... but being on this blog reminds me of little things. I could get a Mitchell fix.

Just caught up on the blog, wanted to comment on the time travel stuff:



It does seem like having a look at the past and/or future can only happen in purgatory. Someone was asking why Lia didn't go back and tell herself not to get on the train, and other similar stuff, and I think that is the answer. In order for her to tell that to her past self, she'd have to get someone into purgatory to tell it to. Presumably, she didn't know any ghosts or vampires, and we don't know what happens if a human ventures into purgatory while still alive.



The question now, though, is why Annie wouldn't now go back and tell herself to prevent events that happpened in her past. Granted, she probably has more important things on her mind at the moment.

34:@Rentaghost: I did laugh at that noise. And I love the idea of Being Human awards we should definitely think of some other categories. :o)

I can't act, I'd be no good as an extra (my one and only acting performance was in the Year Four Christmas production of "Baboushka", under extreme duress - I was supposed to be a non-speaking crowd person, and I sulked the entire time because I'd been forced to wear a shirt and tights, with no skirt or trousers or anything, AND they were lost-property tights because I didn't own any, AND they wouldn't let me say "rhubarb rhubarb" which I was vaguely looking forward to. I vividly remember standing on that stage with a face like thunder and my fists clenched, while some of the other crowd children tried to persuade me to speak - probably the only time in history that this will ever happen, instead of people trying to make me shut up! My parents didn't attend, much to my relief.)

In perspective: Year Four, for non-English people, is normally ages 8 to 9 but I was accelerated a year so had only just turned 8. Still a bit old to be *that* bratty, though.

I was always the narrator in school plays, because I have a good memory but can't convery emotion whatsoever, so I was never picked for the actual acting roles :( And whenever there was more than one narrator I would always end up with bits of other peoples' lines because they couldn't remember it all, so I'd have twice as much to say as everybody else. It was quite annoying.

I thought purgatory was more reliving your memories (In this case Annie looking at FW/Eve's, or in S3 Lia taking Mitchell through his)

42 - @0positiv Good point. I always kind of assumed the "that would just be weird" excuse was a way for the BH writers to leave an opening for themselves to change their minds later - meaning, it doesn't usually happen, but it could.



I guess with that explanation it would be hard to explain why FW didn't kill the baby version of herself, but she might just not have been able to bring herself to do it. (Will have to watch that scene again to hear exactly what she said.)

53-@LouLou22 But FW could talk to Leo/Hal in the past, so she is at least projecting her image into the past, even if she's not actually going there she is influencing it.

@LouLou22 - yeah it's really great, feel sorry for the guy in the costume though he must be BOILING! XD such an improvement from George's WW in series 1, in episode one, when it whips round to look at Annie I actually burst out laughing! Didn't diminish my love of the show though :D

@53 I agree, it's not actually time travel, it's more like time influencing. It just seems like time travel to the person who is experiencing it (Annie in this series, Mitchell - to a lesser extent - in the previous one).

I still wonder what would happen to FWs ghost if somebody killed baby Eve. Would she suddenly become a baby (that is, if she actually is Eve, which not everyone is believing) or would she just vanish and baby Eve would pop up in purgatory?

56: Yeah I loved the bit in the end of 'the Graveyard shift' stakes two vamps that we see and then he jumps over the bar and all this vamp dust is shaken loose from his coat!

59: @ Oarelle, yes I felt the same about the season 1 werewolf. There was all this intensity from RT's performance, and the transformation was so good and then the finished wolf face reminded me of Wil E Coyote from the Roadrunner cartoons! I had to laugh.

Heehee giggles everytime... anyway loved this weeks episode (wanted to post this like 3 blogs ago but it moves so fast!) I felt so sorry for annie now that she's left with 'things she's got to do' but I don't think she'll be able to do it.. i'm guessing there's another way to save the world THAT DOSEN'T INCLUDE KILLING ANY OF THE MAIN CAST that's including eve. I loved the little hal and alex fights.. so hilarious! Can't wait to see how those two get on, maybe even like an annie and a Mitchell but it might work out this time. Poor tom, he seemed quite lonely and desperate for some attention and company.. allison really put him in a bad emotional state, hope that dosen't make him too vunrible

Hmm, I found coffee, tea (normal, herbal, Earl Grey, mint - Annie would be ecstatic!), mojitos of course, and some leftover KiaOra (though none for you; if you're already 'positively giddy' who knows what it'll do to you!). There's also a selection of soft drinks over by the nespresso machine for our younger bloggers (or indeed people who just never got round to drinking more 'mature' drinks like coffee - me included :P )

Can I summarise scrolls to date?

1 - Series 1, Trinity live in a house (symbols for vampire, werewolf, ghost, trinity and house) - do we read this anticlockwise?

2 - Series 1, George kills Herrick (symbols for werewolf, kills, vampire - read anticlockwise) and ano symbol, what order should this be read in?

3 - Series 2, Funeral power explosion (symbols for all vampires, death in house, killed, fire - read anticlockwise from bottom left)

4 - Series 2, BT20 (symbols for railway, vampire, man travels, killed - order a bit odd??)

5 - Series 3, Mitchell brings Annie back from purgatory? (symbols, ghost in purgatory? (or ghost safe?), vampire, death stands still in time (zombie??) or death over fire (hell) = purgatory??)

6 - Er...mother of saviour killed vampire (following order of scroll 2) & 2 people unsure of where in the order this story is!



Are we expecting 2 more scrolls?



When were we told 'you know these stories'? Which are past, and are any yet to come (like the 3 shown in series 4)?



Are these all in order, or is 2 the death of Mitchell?

I never noticed vampdust falling off Tom when he vaulted the bar. My favourite was in Eve Of The War when he backflipped out of the vampires' grip, elbowed one, staked the other then turned and staked the winded one. Beautiful choreography, and doubtless something else my sister will want to try out.

72 megan i agree whole heartedly. Much of this goes over my head. After breaking out a calculator and trying to keep up with everyones events of times concerning hals age and then the scrolls, ugh, it's too much for me. I'm easily confused. so i toss the calculator over my shoulder, crumple up my notes on scrolls and symbols and grab a nice cold beer put my feet up and listen to people who seem to still have a brain unlike me.

@67 0positiv - I'd vote for FW ghost disappearing and baby Eve popping up elsewhere. I suppose in purgatory...does everyone go there first? And how does one move on from there anyway? What would a baby ghost do by itself in purgatory anyway? Does purgatory have, like, a nursing staff? Which makes me wonder about that baby ghost from S2. Why would a baby become a ghost? Just to be with its mother?
