Hey Mr P you were up late!! but thank you it is lovely to get more news and especially a bit about Mitchell's journey. So he is off for a jaunt to Purgatory is he :) sounds very interesting and I am sure Lord Toby has some twists and turns to keep us guessing.

11 - So many options killing or walking away from helping someone when clean was Lauran the only vampire he created after all in the hotel room with Herrick there was the girl who was coming by later 'the anecdote series 1 ep 5 "Tomb service"' and how many have they killed or recruited.



It being the sick thing with werewolves so long as it's not in the first episode as that would ruin the tension maybe the second or forth.



After all he's had 90 years solid reputation building with only occasional periods of calm there is a lot to confront. For an idea how many of his victims are waiting for him on the other side.

I just had a weird thought the scene that was being read out in the behein the scenes I thought it was strange the fact Nina couldn't hear what Annie said.



What if Annie was giving directions to where she was George yells them to Nina who then passes the information along to Mitchell somehow.



or is that a bit to coincidental they would chose that line from the script for the blog and is in fact designed to put that theory in our heads so that when it doesn't happen we feel stupid for thinking that idea in the first place?

I notice that AT is facing up to things from his past, again, I hope that we aren't going to have a guilt ridden Mitchell throughout series 3. Like others notice the word 'attempt', hmm did it fail.

21 - it was Isis not Lia NWBG - a "real" Egyptian goddess' name - which was one of the many things that rang untrue in that interview?

looking again at that interview - they talk about the show being essentially based on three characters - so in Annie's absence they have to bring in a third - but they've got Nina! So odd again. Or written by someone who hasnt watched the show much!



I'm hoping that with these journeys to the other side promised there will still be lots of stuff with the three of them setting up a new home - the being human quirky, funny stuff alongside the supernatural.

Lia, i mean. uh... in a book i read once about pirates, nothing really supernatural about them tho.

Lia is a shortened form of lilith who was (in some canons) the first vampire. She was based on the Hebrew testament story of Adam's first wife (the one before Eve that Christians dont acknowledge). It does specifically say a 'supernatural' that he meets on the other side and that can't just be a ghost as they must all be ghosts/dead. So my hypothesis is she is a very old, very powerful vampire :) so powerful she can exist independently on both sides of the door.



Ewan the clothes she is wearing look 1950's with the patterned, square necked dress and cardigan but if she was a vampire she may not be wearing the clothes from her original date of death...

i'm not a massive fan of soaps either but it'll be really interesting to see Lacey Turner in a very different role- one thing i do know is she can definately cover all emotions- very excited to see what her character's like and why she's in 'the other side'!

Thankyou Moon walker I would never have got that her hair is sort of 50's I suppose but date of death or date of second death now there is a question to ponder.

It would be great if series 3 got more attention but I confess I have never heard of Lacey, I have never watched Eastenders has she been in anything else?



Could it be as simple as Mitchell has to go on this journey to fidn Annie on his own because he is the only one of the 3 that is actually dead? since Herrick has died twice and come back it would seem the state of 'death' is a bit more flexible for vampires?

42 - Yeah, it seems plausible cause he is dead. And I think finding Annie will be the only thing in his mind. Even the fact Herrick is back seemed to be brushed under the rug to him. It makes sense in my head haha.

Good point, hadn't thought about Josie. If Sykes couldn't face going through the door because of his bomber crew of less than a dozen how much courage would it take to go to the 'other side' when you have killed hundreds of people? Mitchell could have some very unplesant encounters.

What if Mitchell bumps into Lauren as well as Josie, but at different times? Wonder if one of them could come back, god knows how, into the present for a brief time? That would possibly consititute a threat from within, especially if there was a bit of jealousy around..

I like the idea of Josie appearing somewhere in this Purgatory place...one of my Twitterpals suggested it isn't really Purgatory but a holding pen if you like until all the ghosts are placed in the right place for each of them...if so I guess Josie could be there but she's been there a heck of a long while lol Mind you, there's probably quite a long queue! If it were Josie, it would have to be played by Claire Higgins again as she was the right age for her death...imagine if it were Lauren...what would Mitchell do then? And how about if he bumped into Gilbert, or Annie did...that's unlikely though as Gilbert seemed happy to go over so he's probably elsewhere and Annie can't see him, perhaps? So many possibilities!

i think that mitchell's "exes" wouldnt forgive him so will try some sort of revenge maybe some escape when they rescue annie because purgatory makes them stronger orr something because it cleanses there souls and mitchell being there is somehow contaminating it with sin reducing chancess of relief from the waiting so other ghosts gang up on him because they want an end and so he has ghosts for revenge and ghosts wanting an end ganging up on him he is shunned from being there because vampires have lost there souls eventhough they keep there concience if they try mitchell gets back-up from other vamps but they turn on him and everything colapses on him and annie and mitchell because they have been clumsy there sols are unclean and there is no forgiveness for them from the ghousts.

It does seem plausible though. I can't help but think about the BH novels, the first one I think. I know it doesn't really relate to the actual story, but it does make you wonder.

the fact each of the four met their death or curse is in a way fated Annie in that house where Mitchell and George happen to decide to live the fact that both George and Mitchell are lost when they're attacked and the fact that George lives while his companion dies why wasn't it the other way around why did he live?

Then Nina finds out in the way she did it is like one fate is gathering it's soldiers to go against some great threat that is 'coming'

Yeah, it's all rather fate-like isn't it? Leading up to some threat we've not yet heard about. That house just happened to be the one they chose. Maybe it was just a coincidence though.



So I think Mitchells quest for Annie will be genuinally ok or it's a trap. I'm beginning to wonder if Lia is a victim from the train?

Maybe but as pointed out to me earlier her cloths in the picture seem to be 50's in style and cut so maybe not who knows who killed her and when or even if that is her real face is she hiding dark feathers somewhere?

How strange. In the bafta video interview with LC on youtube I commented on Stacey Slater giving LC evils in the background. Well, they werent really evils - but I found it funny at the time!

Mitchell crosses over to save Annie!! This is brilliant. I am really hoping to see more M/A interaction in S3 and keeping my fingers crossed that they *finally* become more than just friends.....

So happy to see Aidan again. Like the spoiler for the new cast member/guest star but I am LOVING the fact that Mitchell goes over to the other side to get Annie, and the mention of him missing her. I am so hoping for more A/M this series.
