Herrick will be brilliant, and the hint that he may not be the same as before is exciting, as long as he's still Herrick-ish and gets all the best lines I will be happy.



And Annie! How can they take her? I was expecting her to turn up and the end but not like that! Tghe only thing keeping me sort of sane is that Mitchell has vowed to get her back.

Brilliant!! Soooooooooooooo good!! I never for one minute guessed Herrick would be back. He's such a good character, I've missed him this series. Didn't think Lucy'd die, though. And Annie?? Is she gone for good?? I love the fact that Mitchell is such a mixture of good and bad. No cop outs there!! And Annie in heaven/purgetory/hell-- so that'll be an endless hospital appointment then?

Have to agree with Eleanor (15) we may have loved Herrick BUT bringing him back rather than moving forward, not a promising sign.

Well as I mentioned on the other blog 5 minutes ago we haven't seen whether or Lucy's ghost went over to the other side and again if Annie can show and is waiting on her number then Hennessy is only one number infront and so he may still be able to be active too. I have to admit in some ways I was a bit 50/50 about this apisode but the feeling is, is as I thought series 3 could be very different from what we've seen before.

My mind...it's all over the place.

Well, what a once again a brilliant series!!! What Can i say ?

Brilliant series, but really disappointed by the finale - and bringing back Herrick I think is a really bad move - it would have been far more interesting to bring Ivan back who is a more interesting character anyway, though I do agree Herrick does get the GOOD lines. And if they have written Lucy out of the series with this episode I will be really disappointed - she was an absolutely fascinating character and the dynamic with Mitchell was very interesting. I hope she becomes the new resident ghost - because her death certainly seems to leave a lot of issues in her life unresolved. Might be interesting having two ghosts, because there is going to be an interesting problem - Annie is tied to the house in Bristol, and they are no longer in Bristol. How can a ghost be untied?

OMG! series 2 just finished and i already cant wait until series 3

Not clear if Lloyd died, although he deserved to! Stuck in the chamber with the ghost of a werewolf he might have died of fright.

I don’t think Herrick will be a hybrid. As a vampire he is already dead so his body doesn’t change and he will not be affected by the werewolf curse unless it drives him mad by having werewolf blood in him.

Well before Herrick actually died, if only a millisecond before, he was scratched by a werewolf, which makes you become a werewolf.

Absolutely fantastic! Words fail me - it was just awesome. I was kinda hoping Mitchell would give Lucy the old bite as she was dying to make her his immortal companion. I s'pose he could have done though, as it did take a while for him to appear when George was shouting for him. Poor Annie, no beautiful lights beyond that door for her. I can't believe she has been dragged in to Hell. I cried at the TV scene and can't wait till she is brought back. I dunno what I'm gonna do next Sunday night......Can't wait for series 3. I could watch this for ever and not get tired of that threesome.

I didn't understand how herrick was brought back? I thought his body got ripped into pieces by george in the cellar. How did they bring him back again?

Wow...just wow! I was crying at the end when Mitchell and George put their hands up against Annie's on the TV screen...the afterlife bit that Annie was talking about sounds really intriguing, how the hell are they going to get her back???



Well done Toby and all at the BH production team...a brilliant second series to follow the stunning first. Don't make us wait too long for Season Three! :-)

Yeah I have just realised, will herrick be a vampire AND a werewolf !!

TO MANY CLIFFHANGERS!

I'm sorry, but with this I'm almost certain I won't be back for series three. Too many of the moments featured in this video were my least favourite of the series. Also, Toby's continued reference to threats which define each series lead me to believe that there's little chance the programme will return to what it was in series 1, when I fell in love with it, and when there was no feeling of a looming threat.



Furthermore, if this was *not* the series where the threat was within them, with the constant rows and squabbles and impatience they displayed toward each other, I can't imagine how much worse series 3 will be for those of us who liked the character dynamics back in series one. All of their proclamations of friendship in this episode rang hollow, because we have seen no evidence of that friendship in series 2. Instead, Annie was abandoned by the other two.



This episode did not rekindle my love for the show. There was no humour, which was present even during the tensest moments of series one (the world's gayest ninjas, remember?). The flickering lights inside the facility made no sense and seemed like a cheap way to create a "horror" atmosphere. There was no consistency in terms of Mitchell's vulnerability to crosses and Bibles. And why wouldn't Mitchell answer his mobile? It was also incredibly stupid of them to leave Kemp and Lucy alive. Mitchell's grief at Lucy's death also seemed highly improbable, given the rage he had felt at her betrayal. His characterisation has been swinging madly from psychotic murderer to lamb. The idea of getting Annie back from death makes no sense, given that death is awaiting all of them, sooner or later. Herrick's revival explains Mitchell's warning that the cities will no longer be safe, but frankly, that just indicates another possible plotline for series three I have no interest in.

"The threat is themselves" not one of them, all of them, having to battle their own impulses, monster natures?

Oh yeah, as an aside, I am not best chuffed that Herrick is back... :(

Now in every other vamp thing i've watched, when one is resurrected they always remain supernatural, either even more evil (likely for Herrick) or try to find redemption (more Mitchell's thing) so S3 looks to be intriguing already just around Herrick (pure genisus to bring him back btw).

I think Tully's note may have madly been one of my favourite bits. Its just closure for the character, he finally came good and helped George and really saved him.
