And we do love EVERYTHING about BH, not just one or two rather gorgeous (it has to be said) people in the show!

And Lenora's going to be more helpful and make George do stuff...you know I've got a feeling that S2 is going to go in a different direction altogether to S1...we await with baited breath!

Had a conflab with Eagle and Elbow re why Mitchell wasn't as cut up about Josie's sacrifice (he didn't appear to be too grateful, odd considering he'd just discovered his one and only after 40-odd years) but Eagle explained things and it all seemed much clearer after that....I have her long experience of all things BH to thank for this lol.



Still unsure about whether Nina is nearly a werewolf or an actual one courtesy of the scratches....all will be revealed in 2010 but it's gonna be hell waiting!

VF:: That last comment was a reply to you....forgot to put your moniker on the start of it .... maybe I haven't recovered after all.

anglo : Yep that Chris Moyles thing has caught me out a couple of times....when I am away from the telly and that comes on, I come flying back in to the lounge with my brain screaming ' Mitchell, Mitchell' So far it hasn't been Mitchell.......I think it's called conditioning!! The funny thing is as I said in an earlier post, I didn't even like that song....now it does strange things to me....oooh the power of suggestion.

The first time I heard Sex on Fire on the telly I thought I'd left my PC on but no....then this bloke on a horse appeared...I thought I'd flipped. Was I imagining this? No. Like you, my immediate thought was the gorgeous one on horseback but instead I get....Chris Moyles. Funny how the Mitchell thing just immediately sprang to mind...like you say, Pavlov strikes again! It hasn't put me off the song, though, which is growing on me every time I play those vids.



Incidentally, Charlene McKenna (Aidan's significant other) is in The Fixer this coming week, 9pm Tuesday ITV....it'll be the first time she's been in anything on British TV I think....there's a bit about it in my paper's TV guide and yes, it mentioned Mr Turner,all too briefly for my liking. lol

Hi Brown...christ it's been an odd week....me and the man have a long-distant thing....he can't get a job down here (he's based in London) and I'm not going back there! Mind you, the fact that you know who lives there is highly tempting but totally impractical.... still tempting, tho.

Yeah that pretty much sums it up. I think they've put Chris Moyles' head onto someone else's body, I never had him down for a horsey bloke, especially when the nag rears up like it does. If it's the horse, the vamp and the same music (sorry V) I could handle it.....I could handle it with different music.....but not without the vamp. Not an option. CM didn't come over too well on Who Do You Think You Are? did he....glad I'm not the only one who thought that. It didn't seem 'real' in some places....maybe he was just having a bad week....like worrying about how he was going to remain seated on a very lively horse hehe

More like worrying about how he was going to come across as funny and cool.....missed it by a mile. Now Martin Freeman was absolutely brilliant ...what an absolute little sweeheart....so here we are, you and I are staying totally on-topic. And that Annie....(doing my bit)

VF:: Sorry I went rather quickly last night but excessive tiredness overtook me and I was falling asleep as I was typing my blog....this is never good as I'm no longer an un-Modded person having fallen foul of them yesterday, so I didn't want to make another boo-boo.....apols for abrupt ending therefore



Eagle:: Congrats on the viewing figs! That's amazing, last week it was around 200 or so, it's gone global, well done yay



Never seen History Boys boohoo...one day I will tho and no doubt will enjoy it massively....Russell has a nice smile hasn't he...I'd been so into Aidan if you pardon the expression that I'd not noticed what a lovely face he has....ahhh :-)



The Chris Moyles thing....I'm not over-fond of him, mainly cos of some of the stuff he said about women....came across as quite arrogant, maybe he didn't mean to be but it got my back up *frowns, growls and building up a good head of steam for rant*....some comment about a woman who I think was quite good-looking not being attractive enough for his liking...at which point I thought the words pot, kettle and black sprang to mind...I wasn't impressed. Maybe that's was that "advert" was for...maybe his viewing figs are rubbish and they're trying a new marketing ploy using Sex On Fire (my god who's suggestion was that? It doesn't work - was it supposed to be funny?)...grrr... gnash ...don't get me started lol

Quick post before going out for the day....those of you who haven't read KC's fanfic on the bluewhale site let me recommend it....there's a lot of it and you'll need a lot of time to read all chapters...but well worth it!

Quiet on the site today....went out earlier but due to dodgy bus timetables and the fact that a friend showed up unexpectedly meant I didn't get to do my trip to Bristol General Hospital and the waterside to check out filming locations. I guess peeps are just enjoying the gorgeous weather...I hope it's as lovely where you are as it is here, really warm and sunny (Aidan can get rid of his fingerless gloves for a spell - he said he found it cold down here - never mind hun, I'd have kept you warm ;-))

Oh, I'm very well thanks E, if somewhat bored - a bored Anglo is a dangerous Anglo! - now that the Sig Other has departed to do some work, and my day out was thwarted, I'm at a loose end somewhat. Managed to check out Epi6 again and played the fave bits...caught up with a few emails, etc.... decided that the scene of Mitchell lying "vamped" in the field with his dead comrades reminds me of a mate of mine and the more I see that scene, the more he looks like him....it's uncanny... AT's the kind of actor whose looks change like a chameleon, often with very little make-up or effects.

Lol anglo same here bored = definately dangerous :-S nope not working tonight thank god sat watching torchwood and loving it :-D :-D :-D but ooh 3.40 - simpsons time lol then back to torchwood...perhaps via john barrowmans kids show just for half an hour of that gorgeous voice :-P



But yeah Im meant to be cleaning and tidying got this woman coming in the morning to do some kinda transport survey thing - no idea what shes gonna ask me but i get 15 quids worth of vouchers so im happy lol but getting distracted...how about you?

Done everything I need to do but now it's too late to start anything major, so I'm kind of at a loose end....not looking forward to tomorrow the boss has returned after his holiday so we'll be inundated with cute photos of kids....OK if you're not busy but we'll all have to look at them, go ahhh and praise him a lot for producing such perfect specimens of humankind lol... I'll just do what you just did and shrug and smile and think of my future :-)

I like Annie (Lenora). I'm not sure about the head thing though. It's yet another thing we've picked up from America (seriously look at the amount of young ladies who do it on the telly, usually hispanic girls) and it's kinda corny (although granted not uncute).

Oh I like the strutting and headmoves for our new Annie all part of a confidence for our girl .....I've been practising the headmoves today with Man and friends but they just end up laughing at my attempts ...not unusual I have to say.

Yeh to the History Boys..absolutely loved it..won lots of awards I think or was that the play rather than the film...anyway, our lovely Russell was in the original play as well as the film i think along with Samuel Barnett ...struck me when Desperate romantics came on that Samuel had aged ( or been made to look older) over the couple of years whilst Russell doesn't seem to have.



ok time to confesssssssss....the only time I've seen James Corden was in the History Boys ...he was fantastic I thought in that...and I've never watched Gavin and Stacey.....ok...I'm off to hide now for a while...

Brown you have to watch gavin and stacey its amazing :-) the christmas special is awesome or the one with the foam party - russells dancing is just...well Im not sure there are words to describe it actually lol

Oh and Brown samuels always looked really really young though :-S I dont think any of them have really aged except james...thats not me being mean hes just matured lol he had a real baby face in the history boys.

Eagle:: Am wading through an old episode of Marple on ITV3....I can imagine Sherrie Hewson (aptly named) enjoying herself (ahem)....she was making her way down some stairs to join a chat show host and was almost at the bottom when she slipped and ended up spreadeagled....not intentional E....legs akimbo on the stage... luckily she was wearing trousers. Classic.
