New to BH? Watch out, this post contains spoilers from series one...

As Being Human entered its final two episodes, it was time for the third and final director, Colin Teague, to take charge. One of the key storylines for Colin was Annie's desire to scare the living daylights out of Owen. How exactly did he create this crucial encounter? The man himself explains all, in our latest director commentary.

Gosh you really are spoiling us. I love Colin Teague and his laid back delivery.

I really enjoyed the haunting of Owen and it was great to hear how atmospheres were created using certain lighting and Greg's dramatic pause before "GUILT"

It felt as if Colin was enjoying the characters as much as us..brilliant and yes I too remember "Sapphire and Steel"!

  • Comment number 2.

I love Annie to bits but she really was rubbish at haunting Owen...much better at 'confronting' him. I know Colin did not cover that bit but if anyone knows what Annie whispers to Owen, he should. Come on Colin.....confessss.

Oh and once again, thanks Team

Just been mulling these Directors commentaries over. I have never seen these scenes in terms of wide angles and sweeping shots etc. before ( perhaps as a veiwer, I am not supposed to as all the hard work has been done for me) I think it is interesting that if the Director likes an actor's un-scripted comment then he may be leave it in. And I also find all the stuff like having to get the DVD covers re-printed fascinating.

We should have a Open University course!!

"Vampfan reading the life and times of John Mitchell"

Oh my good god just watching desperate romantics about ten minutes in and god its brilliant! totally not what i was expecting but awesome and yes aidan looking extremely sexy and loving his accent...erm what is it though lol cant quite tell if its meant to be english or posh irish...whatever it is I like it though lol. Loving the show though very funny and loving aidan and sam as always :-D

Hmm Im a little torn though whos more sexy rossetti or mitchell? lol oh decisions decisions :-P

  • Comment number 5.

Mmm ok who am i kidding rossetti every time lol doesnt mean ive lost any love for bh though i promise. But seriously now ive cooled off a bit lol loving the girl playing Lizzie too - brilliant.

  • Comment number 6.

Eagle::: It is fab isn't it and as you said funnier than I was expecting. Mitchell and Rossetti both equally wonderful...but I still think Mitchell is that little bit 'cooler'.

Have just discovered Aidan reading the poem on Des Rom web page and now am having trouble remembering to breathe. Didn't think he could look anymore beautiful.

Sorry Team, I promise I will try to keep on topic from now on.

  • Comment number 7.

Is it non AT fan club worthy?

You see I have very little to watch tonight so it's either that or a Jim Carrey film (and it's not Ace V).

  • Comment number 8.

Lol vf you've only just found it? Its been on a constant replay on my laptop since its been up...possibly the reason my poor little computer has given out lol but the actual program - brilliant absolutely does the book justice which is the only thing i was a bit worried about but i needn't have...just wish I could write this on the d.r site but can't so it'll have to be here lol sorry bh :-)

So vf - aidans accent? is it meant to be english? im not sure if its because im so used to hearing the irish maybe...im sure its not just cos he cant do accents im sure hes brilliant at everything *ducks vf in case she thinks ive insulted her darling aidan* lol

On a bh note - was watching episode 6 yesterday anyone else think herrick sounds a bit johnothan rossy in the scene outside the police station when mitchells arranging to meet him and herrick says "see you tomorrow" sounds like "see you tomowow" lol

  • Comment number 9.

Btw I love the commentary. I was always interested in Chillin's performance. I kinda guessed he was good at improv. Thanks Teague. :)

  • Comment number 10.

Oh super definately! Its a brilliant program and Samuel Barnett is as brilliant as ever and the girl who plays Lizzie too - theyre all brilliant but theyre the two that stood out for me - as well as Aidan obviously.

And the story is brilliant - Im trying to convince my mum to watch it because she takes the mick out of my artsy fartsy books/programs etc and it really isnt its basically sex drugs nd rock and roll just hundred and fifty years ago (well give or take)

  • Comment number 11.

sounds like my kind of thing. Skins without irritating teenagers with art and history thrown in. (tag line possibility right there).

    K, I'll watch it while I'm waiting for BH 2. :)

  • Comment number 12.

Good good :-) its really quite funny - but not in a trying to hard way you know? It kind of feels like its funny without meaning to be if that makes sense which makes it all the better.

Just watching all these commentaries and the new bits on the d.r site...could some clever boffin somewhere put the sonnet on youtube for me so i can download it lol ive no idea how.

  • Comment number 13.

Oh and yeah loving the tagline super lol think you've missed your vocation :-P

  • Comment number 14.

Oh and super when you do give me the verdict on aidans accent lol its bugging me now.

  • Comment number 15.

Ok well I intended to listen to the commentries but then my laptop somehow magically started playing lovesight again and somehow now I just cant bring myself to stop it lol...another day...promise :-)

  • Comment number 16.

I really like it. :) Can't possibly comment on the accent unless I could suddenly ring out a perfect out a perfect Irish tone of course, which I can't... so I won't.

  • Comment number 17.

excuse typos I'm still watching it.

  • Comment number 18.

So it is meant to be english then yeah? Sorry it wasnt an insult to Aidan it really wasn't ive not got a very good ear for accents thats all lol and you know what im like i get used to one - took me 3 episodes of personal affairs to get used annabel being a scouser lol. Its a very sexy accent whatever it is -anyway im hardly one to judge ive got an awful accent anyway ciera can vouch for that lol so god knows what id sound like trying to do a different one :-S

Can I just say though Aidan should be hired out to schools because I know every word of this poem now but could I remember a single line of shakespeare when i was doing my gcses/a leves could i heck lol trust me get him to read out the text and let the girls video it and the country's test scores would be up like a shot :-P as for the boys maybe get jordan to tattoo it across her boobs or something i dunno.

  • Comment number 19.

    lol bless ya.

I never fully understood the AT thing. But even though I'm watching, (half heartedly)packing and typing (terribly) I still kinda get it at the 42 min ish mark.

Seriously, I can't multi task to this extent. Ask me after my holiday.

  • Comment number 20.

Oh I unserstand it lol I reaaaaally understand it :-) I'm still a Russell girl absolutely but Aidan's just so ridiculously sexy it's unfair...hmm what happens at 42 minutes? I liked the "half italian half mad" line lol and the "me too but I enjoy the argument" although someone said something about him the other day that I now just cant get out of my head everytime I look at him and it just makes me giggle lol Id put it on here but I think it would be instantly removed and would hate to ruin your enjoyment of that beautiful face :-S ok off to look at 42 minutes...

You have to admit super he is gorgeous - even if hes not your type hes still gorgeous and the voice...I just cant get over the voice...oh dear vf can i borrow your cold flannel please? lol

  • Comment number 21.

Oh yeah 42 minutes I get it lol I love that scene :-) and yes he sounds very english...i love the way he says mr stone lol may have beaten laurel and hardy :-P

  • Comment number 22.

Oh and he has Rosetti's strut down to a tee I love it and he does very good getting knocked out acting :-)

"You were quite right I was such a precocious little upstart" lol ahh you gotta love sam barnett - brilliant :-)

  • Comment number 23.

    Juuust a quick note.

Being Human got a great review in Variety.

Just thought I would share some random BH news with you

  • Comment number 24.

  • Comment number 25.
