Interesting how Jason, Dylan and Annabelle all wanted the part straight away but Aidan, Lenora and Russell (hang on where was George???....must have seen him talking about it somewhere else) were not too sure at first.



Pleased to know Toby agrees with me about a certain actor being extraordinarily good-looking and charismatic.....etc.

Just watched it again.....Dylan "This is one of the best baddies I have ever played" Awwww!!.

Is it just me or does Aidan really not come across well in these behind the scenes/insight interviews? To me it's like watching a cocky 14 yr old boy. Meh. Maybe it's just me.



Annabel seems lovely. Dylan makes me laugh.

Sperkii I completely agree about the blog team - you lot reaaaaally should get some sort of acknowlodgement for this site it really is brilliant and you get a lot more visitors than just us nutters who actually post :-P I know at least 3 other people who come on now to watch the videos etc and Im sure more of them come on but just dont wanna admit to it lol you're doing a brilliant job of keeping everyone interested in the show while its not on our screens and im certain that the show has more viewers than it would have done without you. So yeah well done you lol

Sperkii I do kinda know what you mean about Aidan not sure about this one but in others I have really wanted to slap him round the face lol but thats more for him being such a bloke!



Thing is you kind ahave to remember being an actors great but theres a hell of a lot of rejection and you kinda have to keep telling yourself you're brilliant and bigging yourself up not only to make casting people think they need you and that you're the best thing since sliced brerad but also for your own sanity - if you didnt constantly tell yourself that you're brilliant then youd be sat in a dark corner rocking and crying within a month lol and this is Aidans first big lead tv part so chances are hes pretty giddy about it whereas Russell and Lenora were both pretty famous over here already and know what to say in interviews etc.



Also Aidan had the extra pressure of replacing guy who was brilliant - i know he didnt watch the pilot until he'd already either started or finished filming cant remember which he said but guy's mitchell had an awful lot of fans and people really loved him so he had big shoes to fill which is never easy...



Right I will actually watch it now and yay dylans in it lol athough you know ill be watching russells bit for about half an hour :-P

Haha vampfan we were talking about that before on the forum I think - we'll be able to tell whether we were right about how deep and meaningful the gloves actually were or if aidan was telling the truth and he was just cold but personally I think thats a load of rubbish I think we were right lol.



But he did think they were cool really - he was just trying to save face when he said not lol because he was wearing them in russells video and he'd just come out of his trailer not on set and was only wearing a t shirt so wasnt cold or hed have been wearing a jumper lol



Oh and when I say only wearing a t shirt - i meant on his top half he had jeans on too so calm down girls lol

Yep see what you mean about Aidan although it kinda comes across as very tongue in cheek I dont think its serious sperk just a joking arrogance - kinda laughing at himself. Although if you can afford to fly back off holiday and then fly back out again then pfft he didnt need the part he must have been loaded! Unless it was butlins...he did say he scrubbed his tan off so mustve been out of a bottle lol he could get that kinda tan at butlins...



Ahh Annabel just seems so lovely - like i said you never can tell in interviews but she just seems so sweet.



For gods sake though dylan burn that coat!! its evil chop it up and burn it lol what ever posessed him to buy it - I mean I have no fashion sense what so ever im a jeans and t shirt girl through and through but it looks like and animals just crawled up and died on him :-S how cold could it have been? Still think hes brilliant though despite the wierd clothes :-P although I notice nobody has a go at his arrogance lol and his is a lot more serious than aidans i think...but dont care love him hes brilliant.

Sperkii, I kind of know what you mean about Aidan not coming across too well in these sort of interviews, but don't you think it's cause he's a bit shy and overwhelmed by the whole 'stardom' thing, I mean he's not an established celebrity is he like Russell and Lenora, and I think it can be misinterpreted as cockiness, but I agree with Eagle about his not having a lot of experience in interviews.



And Cieria, I think the touching your head when you say 'touch wood' must definitely be a Manc/Northern thing, as that's something I always do too! lol ;P

Oh I do it all the time I thought everyone did it :-S well I guess I'm kind of northern...ish so maybe it is :-)

And ref: #7 and #9 about the fingerless gloves....if they're in the next series, Aidan will just argue that Mitchell had to wear them for 'continuity' reasons...

Those asking about Russell, I wondered about him too but then I remembered that they brought him over from the pilot. Maybe that's why they left him out. (Mind you they could have still covered how he got the role with the pilot but anyhow...)



As for the touch wood thing I've come across that before and I'm a southerner. My Nan used to do it except she tapped my head instead. Cheeky minx.

I think Turner is just pretty happy with himself at the moment. It's new to him and he's excited that it's all worked out. He's still not my favourite though.

Yeah I do agree about Aidan - you'd be pretty chuffed if you were him wouldn't you like I said he's probably a bit giddy still - think he realises he's been properly "discovered" now. Russell's always lovely in interviews and stuff but if you see him in stuff he did for the history boys he had a touch of Aidan about him as well

Hahaha, I'd never seen Blade before. It's on now on Five USA. I've just watched 5 minutes and have laughed through 4 and a half and winced through the rest (at the pulling out of fangs). I almost think I preferred the rubber bats of hammer horror.



Being Human, True Blood and Underworld are my faves of the ones I've seen. Mind you I still have to see loads, including Lost Boys. Got a telling off from super the other day for not having seen that ;)

On the subject of Dylan's furry coat, do you think it's his or maybe he's just in costume for his next job. I LOVE Annabele's blue coat BTW.

I think Aidan's apparent 'cockiness' is mostly down to self-consciousness and nervous joking.. I do that kind of fake-arrogance all the time when im nervous and then realize people who dont know me probably think im a jerk! But it does work as a good barrier to nerves...



Then again it would be nice if he could get over it and talk about the show in a bit more depth..

Oh and The Lost Boys is AWESOME! Kiefer Sutherland is suuuch a cool vampire! And Jason Patric is hot! And the Two Coreys are in it! And it's got an amazing 80s coundtrack! And it's got Bill from Bill and Ted as one of the Vampire gang! ANd one of the best last lines in all of film!!

lol Bex....ok you're enthusiasm has sold it to me. consider it added to my rental list!

Interesting as Lovefilm users only give it a 2 star rating - but then they won't all be completely obsessed with vampires and all things ghoulish as we are! lol

By the way, for those of you peeps suffering Mitchell withdrawal, the Desperate Romantics DVD is due out 28th September according to the BBC, so I reckon we only have a couple of months wait until we can see Aidan on TV again. The BBC have a whole press pack on the website with loads of info, and some pretty nice pictures.......

Hahahaha, it'd be a very good one to do drinking games to...every time someone/something gets killed, you down a drink...everyone would be on the floor very quickly indeed. Lost Boys is great. Cool music, decent costumes, perfect cast, silly script. Camp, 80's vampire films, you can't beat 'em.



I wish I fancied AT, it might make my inane comments worth my time. He is very good looking but just not for me.
