Only Mitch could pull off red lipstick. I thought those scenes in particular with the colour washes were gorgeous to look at.

yes, i've still never seen it. I think it might be better to repeat the pilot on another night tho, do you think? so as not to mess up all the stuff to do with the series? and so as not to confuse people who dont know BH.

I don't know but I can't see where else they would put it unless they want the pilot to fall into obscurity. Actually, thinking about it most other shows ignore the pilot.

Brookesie, the pilot is up on You Tube --- in about 6 partts. It's interesting to watch it --- they recast Mitchell/Annie/Lauren/Herrick. Nothing against the original actors who were all brilliant (esp. Guy Flanagan who played Mitchell) but I think the new actors had more chemistry together and brought a more down to earth feel to the show rather than playing up the supernatural element. Plus I think Aidan and Lenora brought more warmth/vulnerability and humour to their roles although I guess they had 6 episodes to work with, instead of just the one.

do you know we actually downloaded the pilot about a week ago, but I'm sort of wary of watching it. and of course once I have seen it then there'll be really nothing new to watch for a long time!!

ive actully seen it in a advert twice now on bbc3 and i cant wait bring on being human night part 1

she does say i was like brillant the script was just brillant

no need to watch the pilot my opinon- it was not even half as good i thought, and nearly all the story is explained in the much better series(with better suited actors i thought) but then again i am biased as i LOVE aidan turner- in a none stalkerish way of course :):p

is anyone else watching little britain at the moment? was that canteen girl I just saw in the univsity office? the one with the moustache on her lip?

lol sorry just had to get that out - fist thing - its shallow and terrible but i have to say - that image of Mitchell in black and white with red lips!? oh good god that actually sent a shiver down my spine lol wow Mr Turner. This was obviusly filmed quite recently then - George has bit longer hair (yay-looks much better) and Aidans got his curls and sideburns.

Schdule wise though wouldn it have made sense to show this after the repeatshave been shown? some people are planning on watching themfor first time this weekend and unearthed obiously contains spoilers - eg ep 6 dungeon scene - we know mitchells survived etc?

Cor just had to watch it again - normally annoys me a little bit when people just go on about how gorgeous Aidan is and nothing else but my poor brain has actually gone to mush which very rarely happens. Oh christ youll have to come back to me lol

Hope they go into more detail about the origional though? Think its quite iteresting that mitchell started out as a recovering sex addict - it kind of follows really well and i dunno it just really makes sense i can see the thought process and then of course "mild thing" lol offically worst name for a film possibly ever? :-D but we forgive you Toby lol it produced something this brilliant so cant complain but think its really intersting - and think everyone should know - not just the sad gets that have nothing better to do than read endless interviews with Mr Whithouse :-S lol

Does it annoy anyone else when actors dont use their real accents when filming? Because when you see them doing documentaries, it's weird.



RE the will the pilot be on the DVD. They'll probably put it onto two discs. Four episodes on disc 1, 2 on disc 2 plus bonus feautures

But Sinead did do a good accent.

I love the black and white effects and i agree with eagle eyes4 it's spookily raising hairs on my neck it was a fantastic idea to mess with the imaging, leave us wanting more why don't you BH team!!!!!

been looking through comments now cant find half of them i have been doing a bit of fishing around and people coulnt work out the fire and blowing up of vampires so here goes

vampires can only die when cut up into several pieces and every piece has to be burned to completely remove them

burning is a universal method of legend and fictional vampires

cut out the heart and burn it

cut with a dowel

so there you have it guys when they were all blown up thats how they did it
