The Harlem Globetrotters are in town. Over the years, I’ve been thrilled to meet one or two of the team – they’re always huge fun and terrific ambassadors for the sport of basketball – but I’ve never seen them in action, though always wanted to.
Well, this morning I was at Sky News reviewing the day’s papers with Journalist and sports writer Des Kelly, and in walked the tallest man I’ve ever met. One Stretch Middleton, who – at 7ft 4ins, makes his colleague, 6ft 1in Dizzy Grant look positively short!
