Cheese would make a grate TV programme

My guest today has spent the last 35 years becoming a world expert on cheese – she’s the FOUNDER OF THE British Cheese Awards and the Great British Cheese Festival, Juliet Harbutt. Why oh why isn’t she the star of a TV programme all about cheese? I can just see how it would work, looking at the most fantastic locations of cheesemaking all over the world, finding out about the different animals which produce cheese, meeting the amazing characters within the industry and most of all, drinking in the enthusiasm and excitement of Juliet herself.

I’m meeting a load of VIP programme makers tonight at the BBC Frank Gillard awards in Windsor. I’ll have to have a go at ‘em…
