They say:“The track was put together whilst writing for the new Oaks record. It didn’t really have a comfortable spot amongst the other songs so I figured I would just put it up online.”
We say: “Yes - it’s a notably fragile three minutes of warped vocal, gentle beats and wonky xylophone, subtly hypnotic and beautifully presented. But to be honest, he had us at ‘I made this for our cat’.”
Oaks is Belfast producer James Bruce. Previous tracks from Oaks played on Across the Line have included '2.', his remix of Rachael Boyd’s ‘Esoteric Path' and 'Knowledge Spice', which in turn received a Rachael Boyd remix
