Oaks - Knowledge Spice [Rachael Boyd Remix]

They Say: “It’s a remix by the ever wonderful Rachael Boyd of my track, 'Knowledge Spice'. I worked on the original last year and then had Jess Edlin and my good friend Steven Butler come in to do some vocals on it for me.



I did a remix for Rachael’s single, Esoteric Path, earlier in the year and so thought it would be really cool to have her do the B-side for this.



It’s got great drive and I love the percussion she went with, really upbeat with a sort of world-y vibe going on. I dig."



We Say: “Thoughtful electronica is something we do very well these days, and Oaks have made itchy beats, wonky fx and paranoid vocals sound like art. Beautifully Bristolian and hugely hypnotic. The string laden Rachel Boyd remix doubly so.”



Knowledge Spice and the Rachael Boyd Remix are out now. Oaks will be in Across the Line’s ‘The Making of…’ on Monday 14th March
