Pillow Queens release their debut album ‘In Waiting’ next Friday and obviously they can’t celebrate right now, but they have just announced an Irish/UK tour in 2021.
Northern Irish dates:
• Friday, 13th March 2021, Sandinos, Derry
• Thursday, 11th March 2021 Ulster Sports Club, Belfast
The album created in lockdown and released independently, marks an amazing year for the band, with plays on BBC 6 Music, BBC Radio 1, Radio X and RTE.
Despite Covid 19, Pillow Queens feel more present than ever, continuously engaging with their fans through social media, interviews and most importantly their music.
Most recent single ‘Holy Show’ perfectly captures “the fear where you analyse everything that you did the night before, ways in which you spoke to people, a particular way you stood or ‘did I look too long?’ or ‘did I say that in a weird way. Basically, that silly self-critique you have of yourself when you’re feeling particularly vulnerable.”
It’s ok we’ve all been there and we cannot wait to hear the rest.
