ROE – Playground Fights (In Session)
Wednesday 22nd March, 2017
They say: “When you get older I think that people start to develop this mad obsession over work, exams, relationships etc that they get so tied up in it all and forget life can be fun.
Playground Fights is about someone who wants to go back to being a kid but is constantly told to wise up by the people around them. I think you don't have to be an adult all the time, it's okay to be goofy every once in a while."
We say: “With vocals that glide effortlessly like a songbird, Roisin Donald AKA ROE oozes talent from every pore. Punctuated with pent up pressure and words said with conviction, ROE gives a polished performance on a track that is only a few weeks old.
Using her drum pads and loops, ROE creates a minimalist but incredibly powerful atmosphere.”
‘Playground Fights’ was recorded in session for Across The Line and her new single ‘Cheek, Boy’ is available to stream for free now.
As often as possible Across the Line aims to bring you a great new, recent or interesting track each day, Monday to Friday. To get your new music to Across the Line send it via the BBC Introducing Uploader.
