Cathedral Quarter Arts Festival Reveals Full Programme

Hannah McPhillimy plays 101 Donegall Street on 6th May
Aidan Moffat, David Homes and Steve Mason are among the most recent acts to be announced for the 17th Cathedral Quarter Arts Festival, as it unveils the full programme of events for 28th April to 8th May. Lee 'Scratch' Perry, The Zombies and The Afro Celt Sound system are also set to play the Belfast based festival.
Former Arab Strap member Aidan Moffat will be performing live after a screening of his new film 'Where You’re Meant to Be' in The Black Box on Friday 29th April. Beta Band founder Steve Mason will play the same venue the following night, David Holmes will be inviting people to 'God’s Waiting Room' in The Black Box Green Room, also on Saturday April 30th and Hannah McPhillimy plays 101 Donegall Street on Friday 6th May.
As previously announced Jealous of the Birds will be this year’s artist in residence, with last year’s artist in residence – Ciaran Lavery – returning to launch his album ‘Let Bad In’ with a live show at St George’s Church on Friday 6th May. Guy Garvey, Jeffery Lewis & Los Bolts, Marc Almond, Gavin James and Grandmaster Flash are among some of the other musical guests appearing with comedy, literature, theatre and visual arts also included in the 150 events.
