The Wood Burning Savages - We Love You

Wednesday 30th March 2016

They Say: “We Love You’ isn't a love song. It's a song about youthful dreams and hope being sold off to the highest bidder. It's a blitzkrieg hymn for our generation - we're all wide awake and sick and tired of being sick, tired, skint, zero-houred and on the recession shelf. It's two fingers up to the policy makers who should've been fired from a cannon into the wall of their local derelict factory. Recording wise, we followed the model set by a recent live broadcast with ATL and recorded as live as possible in Start Together Studios with Rocky O'Reilly on the controls.”

We Say: “Raising the bar with every release, the best dressed band in Co. Derry have unleashed another indie-pop gem. Unleashed is definitely the right word - this one is out of the traps in a heartbeat, frantic and full of drama, proper rock n’ roll. 2016 best see them getting what they have long deserved.”

The single ‘We Love You’ was released on 21st March 2016. You can also listen to the band’s performance of 'I Don't Know Why I Do It To Myself' & 'Premiere League' recorded at ATL’s celebration for BBC Radio Ulster’s 40th birthday, below.
