Villagers Session Recording

Across The Line

To celebrate the launch of the Villagers new album, ‘The Art of Pretending to Swim,’ Across the Line is recording an hour long special with Villagers, on Thursday 27th September and you could watch from behind the scenes.

We have a small amount of tickets allowing fans of the band the chance to enter the studio ‘mix-room’ as the band perform live in session for Across the Line in the adjoining studio space. A small audience will be able to watch the session and interviews take place through the studio window, while hearing the tracks as they’re performed live, all for an Across the Line special to be broadcast the following week.

The Art of Pretending to Swim is Villagers’ fourth album and first new music in three years. Embracing ‘existential fears and hopes in this desperate, technologically-centred dystopian age’, Conor O’Brien wrote, produced, mixed and played most of the record himself in his Dublin studios.

Tickets will be distributed by random draw and you can register at any time until 12 noon on Friday 21 September.

You can apply for a maximum of two tickets and admission to the recording is on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that as not everyone who asks for tickets uses them, to make sure we have a full house we send out more tickets than there are places.

Apply for tickets here.
