The lineup has been announced for the live event of the NI Music Prize, with nominees Hannah Peel, The Wood Burning Savages, Brand New Friend, ROE, Ciaran Lavery and Ryan Vail all performing on the night.

The awards take place in the Ulster Hall on Thursday 15th November, where the winners of the four categories will be revealed; Album of the Year, Best Single, Best Live Act and The Oh Yeah Contender Award.

Charlotte Dryden of Oh Yeah Music Centre, award coordinators, said: “After five fantastic years at the wonderful Mandela Hall we are moving to the Ulster Hall. It’s an iconic and beautiful stage and it’s going to be exciting to see some of the nominees up there and doing what they do best.”

Previous winners have included Foy Vance, Robyn G Shiels, Ciaran Lavery and SOAK, with Joshua Burnside picking up the Album of the Year accolade in 2017.

The NI Music Prize event is supported by Belfast City Council, Arts Council of Northern Ireland, British Council, PRS, PPL, Help Musicians NI and Tourism Ireland.
