Beach – Bram Toker
Tuesday 13th June, 2017
They say: “The idea for the track name came from a local pub in Clontarf called 'The Bram Stoker' where I spent a lot of time hanging out with friends. Bram Stoker was born in Clontarf so this is why the pub got it's name. It's dirty, gritty, spooky in your face attitude went well with the name Bram Toker.
We were also listening to SUUNS on repeat during the initial writing process and this probably had some influence in the style of the song. Our good friend Wastefellow also lent his hand producing the track so his colourful techniques were brought to the table. Long live Dracula.”
We say: “Starting off murky and quite pensive, ‘Bram Toker’ eventually reveals it’s true self as a mind-bending, psychedelic odyssey.
Beach really know how to build tension and we get a glorious pay off in the form of the final goosebump inducing chorus. Edge of your seat stuff.”
‘Bram Toker’ is the latest single from Beach which is available to stream for free now and also features an accompanying music video.
