Villagers at Electric Picnic 2015

VILLAGERS NEW ALBUM

Villagers have announced they will release a new album entitled ‘Where Have You Been All My Life?’, on 8th January, 2016.

Conor O'Brien said on Facebook: “Recorded in one day at RAK Studios, London, it distils five years of song writing into one flowing narrative, re-imagining older material as well as present tunes from the most recent studio album 'Darling Arithmetic'.”

The album is available now to pre-order and the band will go on tour in the New Year.

ATLANTIC SESSIONS

Running from Thursday 12th – Sunday 15th November, The Atlantic Sessions will host gigs across Portstewart, Portrush and Portballintrae, including 40 free events.

Wyvern Lingo, with support from Saint Sister will headline at Flowerfield Arts Centre on Friday 13th November and Paddy Casey will headline on Sunday 15th November.

Other festival artists playing include PORTS, Rosborough, The Emerald Armada, Cup O’Joe, Son of the Hound, and more. Further events include the Sunday Brunch Session hosted by Ralph McLean and a number of themed Movie Screenings. Full programme details will be released later this week.

SEA PINKS NEW ALBUM

Belfast three piece Sea Pinks have announced their new album 'Soft Days' will be released in January via CF Records. The first single to be taken from the album is ‘Depth of Field’ and is now available to listen to.

UNLOVED DEBUT EP

David Holmes alongside Keefus Ciancia & Jade Vincent, have just released their debut 4-track EP as musical project ‘Unloved’. The EP is available digitally and as limited edition vinyl.

HOUNDS OF ALASKA

Hounds of Alaska AKA Edward Cairns has been nominated in the Best Unsigned Male category at the Best of British Unsigned music awards. Voting is now open at www.bobunsigned.com/vote
