Edward F Butler & Katharine Philippa – Future’s Full

Friday 16th October 2015

They say: “I wrote ‘Futures Full’ after being concussed. It was a time in my life where I had to relearn who I was, and the song is all about that. I basically needed help editing down my ideas, so Katharine Philippa and Matt Duke, really helped turn a Cobain-esque ballad into what it is today. It also taught me, when writing songs, don't do tongue twisters!.... "Are our futures full of fools and thieves."

We say: A duet from two ludicrously talented, forward thinking creative types - this is truly the sum of its parts. Gorgeous and reflective, with exquisite production and just the right amount of quirk - it’s one of the finest pieces of music we’ve heard in 2015. Not that we’re surprised.
