Thran - The World Doesn't Stop
Thursday 27th October, 2016
They say:“The World Doesn't Stop is the first track from my second EP, due for self-release 28/10/16. I'm really happy with the mix of electronic and acoustic elements in this track, which features my cousin Christopher on lead guitar.
The whole EP represents a mix of my current influences such as Floating Points, Bonobo, Kuedo and local lads CM88 and Ryan Vail."
We say: "Acoustic six-string arpeggios and textured synths intertwine on this instrumental opus by Thran, against a backdrop of staccato percussion, choral samples and found sounds.
Building to a primal crescendo the track feels organic and elemental, with elegant production allowing each aural layer a unique voice."
Thran is a project by Belfast-based musician Ronan Scullion, and the Nocte EP will be available from Friday 28th October, 2016.
