General Fiasco will play four shows to mark the passage of the Olympic Torch as it is carried around Northern Ireland next month.

As the iconic symbol makes its way around NI, the Co. Derry combo will appear live on four occasions. The first event is taking place at the East Strand Car Park, Portrush on 3rd June, followed by St Columbs Park, Derry, Londonderry on 4th, Pairc Esler, Newry on 5th and Belfast City Hall, Belfast on 6th.

Snow Patrol have already been confirmed to play a slot in London around the opening of this summer's London 2012 Games.

Musical events will be taking place around the UK in celebration of the games.
