GOTW - Warrenpoint Easter Weekender

Post categories:

ATL|13:56 UK time, Wednesday, 4 April 2012

As you've probably gathered by now, it's any excuse to get outside of Belfast and hit the road, especially when it comes to our gig of the week. With that in mind, it's off to what's a surprisingly active little corner of the country - sunny Warrenpoint. Boasting two reliable venues, the small seaside town is more than ready for it's own mini-festival, in this case an Easter Weekender. So it's the INF for ATL show openers on Monday past Trucker Diablo on the Saturday, then over to the Duke for A Plastic Rose on the Sunday.

Gerry from APR told us

'Warrenpoint is alway mental but Easter Weekend the place always goes absolutely bananas so we can't wait to return as headliners of this festival. A really strong line-up too, we can't wait to catch some of the new bands making waves here in Belfast showcasing their stuff.'

Oh yes, small matter of an entire ATL friendly bill to discuss. Way too many to namecheck here, but Stillpoint and Gascan Ruckus are among the highlights on Saturday with A Northern Light and Parachutes over Paris are among the picks on the Sunday. But needless to say, check out the full line up here!
