The North Coast Music Collective are set to release a compilation CD of some of Northern Ireland's freshest new acts. The '1000 Bricks' compilation will be curated by Axis Of, with a special two day event at The Playhouse in Portrush to launch the record.

On Friday 13th April Axis Of,Pocket Billiards, Black Dunes and The Space Muffinz will play an over 18 show at The Portrush Playhouse while on the Saturday, a matinee all ages gig, will also take place in The Playhouse with Town Cried Wolf, Casper's Friend and Little Big Box.

Ewan, co-frontman from Axis Of had this to say on the event.

"This compilation and launch weekend aims to showcase how vital and alive the scene on the North Coast is right now. There are new bands, new labels, new DJs, promotors and venues. Its a good opportunity to cement the North Coast as a relevant part of the Irish scene. We want to share it with everyone!"
