GOTW - Window Seats @ Radar, QUBSU

That band Window Seats are great, aren't they? Yes we love their tunes (was nice to play a wee blast of 'Rat' again last night) and yes, that video for 'Local Superhero' was better than the entire Lord of the Rings saga put together (seriously).

But today I think they're great because they've basically written this blog for me, bigging up both themselves and the other two acts playing our GOTW this Thursday at QUBSU.

So, while I relax and get a brew on, it's over to Window Seats frontman Jude Mc Caffrey to do all the work....

'What people can expect from our set? The sound of three guys blasting out heavy alternative riffs, screaming and shouting with the odd delicate turn. Recently we've been stuck to computers working on new recordings, videos and doing loads of interviews here and there so we can't wait to rip out some music. Radar is a always a great show with a nice big stage so we'll be running around at any opportunity!

'As for The Bonnevilles - can't wait as it's been ages since we've seen them and they're the perfect band to chill out and energetically get into all at the same time. Really gritty bluesy straight ahead songs that you can have a pint to!

'Then there's Sound of Guns who are right up our street. With them being from Liverpool it's always interesting to see what touring acts are doing different than music being produced closer to home. It always puts the pressure on us local lads to hold firm and put on a great show opening up for a touring act though, so best get in training for those laps of the stage.'

Finished, Jude? Nice. Thanks!
