Van Morrison will play the Milennium Forum in Derry on May 3rd.

The Belfast performer who has penned global hits such as 'Brown Eyed Girl' and 'Moondance' will appear as part of the City of Derry Jazz and Big Band Festival 2012.

According to the venue's website the "set list for the show will feature a selection of his greatest hits and songs that have a particular resonance to his Irish roots".

Morrison played the Odyssey Arena in Belfast earlier this month and is currently on tour around the UK.
