Describe in a Tweet: Back so soon? Or is that deja-vu again?

What happened: Not every band could create such yearning for a return performance so soon after an Ulster Hall sell out – but not every band is led by Liam Gallagher who, on evidence of a crowd largely indifferent prior to his arrival, is the sole draw for most. Although this is detrimental to the supports, the expected mania that then greets Beady Eye carries a rather automated, routine show bearing little difference to their recent visit.

As with before, the high-points arrive in a flying first half. 'Four Letter Word', 'Bring The Light' and 'Beatles & Stones' are venomous mod shuffles and 'Kill For A Dream' is a touching sing-along but the playschool psychedelia and insistent dullness that fills the remainder gets seriously tiresome, even for the most religious Liam-alikes. Covering 'Sons of the Stage' is a clever throwback to close on but an all round uneven setlist sets it up to fall flat on drained ears.

Different Gear: Vocally Liam's in top shape and ex-Robbie drummer Chris Sharrock's stick juggling acrobatics behind the kit steals Gallagher's thunder on more than a few occasions.

Still Speeding: Fans anticipating a 'repeat performance' probably didn't mean a word for word duplicate show. Either mix it up a bit or leave it a bit longer next time.
