Beyond Today is the daily podcast from Radio 4 that asks one big question about one big story in the news - and beyond.

It's presented by Tina Daheley and Matthew Price, they work with a team of curious producers search for answers that change the way we see the world.

What's different about Beyond Today?

Beyond Today takes a more in-depth look at the news. They speak to the BBC’s unrivalled global network of reporters, plus occasional special guests, to tell stories about identity, technology, and power - where it lies and how that is changing.

Each episode looks at one subject from the news. Tina and Matthew talk with the experts for around 20 minutes and give a deeper look into the news agenda.

Who are Tina Daheley and Matthew Price?

Tina Daheley. As well as being the presenter of Beyond Today, Tina is newsreader on The Radio 2 Breakfast Show with Zoë Ball. Daheley joined the BBC in 2007. She has presented television coverage of women's football and co-presented the BBC Three political discussion show Free Speech.

Matthew Price. As well as being the presenter of Beyond Today, Matthew is Chief Correspondent for BBC Radio 4's Today. He started with the BBC as a trainee local radio reporter before moving on to present Newsround. He has also been the BBC's correspondent in Jerusalem and New York, and covered the Iraq War.
