A quick round up of what's new this week on BBC iPlayer, programmes that are about to become unavailable, plus some hidden gems you might have missed.

Glow Up

BBC Three’s Glow Up is back for its second series, hosted by Stacey Dooley. Industry legends Val Garland and Dominic Skinner are back on the judging panel, ready to choose who glows and who goes, as they whittle down the make up artists one by one before crowning this year’s Glow Up star. Series two begins Thursday 14 May and series one is available now.

Charlie Brooker's Antiviral Wipe

In this one-off special, Charlie Brooker returns to our screens for the first time since his Bafta award-winning 2016 Wipe to take a look at life under lockdown. Streaming from Thursday 14 May.

The Ranganation

Romesh Ranganathan’s topical comedy show returns for a second series. Dubbed the ‘isolation edition’, Romesh’s new studio will be from home, where he’ll be joined virtually by two special 'isolating' guests and his hand-picked focus group The Ranganation, beaming in from the comfort of their own homes to mull over the lighter end of the news spectrum. Begins Sunday 10 May.

Dave

US sitcom about a neurotic man in his late twenties who has convinced himself that he’s destined to be one of the best rappers of all time. Now he must convince his closest friends, because with their help, he actually might convince the world. Full series box set available to stream from Sunday 10 May.

Later... With Jools Holland

Later... With Jools Holland returns with a special and very different series whilst it waits to return safely to its usual studio home at West London’s Television Centre. Each Jools will be joined - virtually - by a special guest who will talk him through their own musical journey, illustrated by classic clips from the Later... archive. Begins Friday 15 May.

Peter Kay's Car Share

Comedy series from Peter Kay. John and Kayleigh have been thrown together in a company car share scheme, but will they get along? Series one and two box set available from Friday 15 May.

Our Girl

Drama following the extraordinary adventures of female medics in the British Army, starring Michelle Keegan.

DEVS

Sci-Fi thriller series from Alex Garland, the writer director behind Ex Machina and Annihilation. When her partner doesn't return from a secretive tech firm, Lily uncovers a conspiracy that could change the world. What is Devs?

Normal People

Marianne and Connell weave in and out of each other’s lives in this exploration of sex, power and the desire to love and be loved. Acclaimed adaptation of Sally Rooney’s best-selling novel.

Darkest Hour

Oscar-winning war drama, starring Gary Oldman. Prime Minister Winston Churchill must battle his own party, the opposition and the Nazis during the darkest days of the second world war. Streaming from Saturday 9 May.

The Damned United

The story of Brian Clough's 44-day stint as manager of Leeds United FC. When Don Revie quit to manage England, the outspoken Clough took charge. With Michael Sheen.

Pawn Sacrifice

2014 biographical film based on the true story of Bobby Fischer's challenge against top Soviet chess grandmasters during the Cold War. Streaming from Friday 15 May.

The Lunchbox

Drama. A mistaken delivery of a lunchbox in Mumbai leads to an encounter between a lonely young housewife and a widower. Streaming from Saturday 9th May.

The Pale Horse

Agatha Christie mystery. When a young woman is murdered, a mysterious list of names is discovered. Who wrote the list, and what does it mean? Series available until Friday 15 May.

Victoria And Abdul

Film. Period drama starring Dame Judi Dench and Ali Fazal, about the unlikely friendship between Queen Victoria and clerk Adbul Karim. Available until Monday 11 May.

From Darkness

Psychological crime drama. An ex-constable hiding from the guilt of her past is slowly drawn back to confront her darkness. Available until Friday 15 May.

Effie Gray

Film. Period drama based on a true story, starring Dakota Fanning and Emma Thompson. When young Effie Gray becomes the wife of John Ruskin, it soon becomes apparent that Ruskin regards her as a muse rather than a wife. Available until Wednesday 13 May
