
A 'Micro bit'
Last week (Thursday 12 March) we unveiled #BBCMakeItDigital, an inpiring initiative to get the nation's youth coding to help close the predicted skills gap in the digital industries.
BBC Director-General Tony Hall launched the project, which partners with over 50 organisations and includes 5,000 digital apprenticeships and a 'Micro bit' basic coding device being given to all year 7 children in the UK.
