Hayley says: "It’s heartbreaking but it’s a good watch"

"It’s really interesting and what I liked was that usually with Ryan Murphy shows, he has big name actors, and there’s always somebody you recognise in a strange role, like John Travolta. But this time there’s lots of new performers that I’ve never seen before, particularly a lot of transgender women of colour and they’re amazing, and the fact that we don’t know them means that this is all shiny and new to us.”

"It’s based in the middle of the AIDS crisis so you see how that is coming about…the fear and the anger and the feeling of being forgotten by the whole city and by the government is throughout the story.

"It’s heartbreaking but it’s a good watch.

"If you like the bitchiness and the drama and the one-liners of (RuPaul's) Drag Race, you’ll love this."

Scott says: "It's so good"

"We’re having so many different stories on TV these days but this feels something that’s so new and fresh that hasn’t necessarily been done like that before, it opens this entire new world that I just don’t think I’ve ever seen depicted on TV…it’s so good.”

"The soundtrack throughout is phenomenal….the opening 10 minutes of the episode I think is one of the greatest openings ever.

"I don’t want to spoil too much but it’s so daft, it’s so ridiculous and so overly dramatic, I don’t think there’s been many shows that have had me hook, line and sinker straight on in.”

Pose starts on Thursday 21st March at 9pm on BBC2. It will run for eight episodes.
