Hayley says: "The Trip is the reason I learnt how to drive"
"If you have loved The Trip in the past this is more of that thing you like. All the usual stuff returns: the first Ronnie Corbett impression happens around the six minute mark, a Stan Laurel one follows soon after. This is British men wearing shorts and straw hats around Europe, talking about nothing.
"There’s a lot of self-indulgent stuff but it's self-knowing enough to get away with it. I’ve loved The Trip for years. It’s the reason I learnt how to drive. I think it was The Trip to Italy where Coogan and Brydon are driving along to Alanis Morissette - and I was like ‘that looks like fun. I want to learn how to drive’ - not to sing along to Alanis Morrissette, obviously.
"This is more my speed if we're talking about travel shows: two comedians carefully but ruthlessly undermining each other's careers and personalities over a nice lunch. They know each other so well it's like they have each other’s nuclear codes. It’s a Must Watch."

Scott says: "There's so much other TV you can be watching"
"What I liked about it was the juxtaposition between the beautiful shots of Greece then you start to hear Rob Brydon and Steve Coogan’s conversations about how exactly they would kill each other if they had the chance.
"I know the whole point of this comedy series is to not have that much in the way of plot development, but it doesn’t feel like it’s going anywhere. I don’t know how many times you can see people having a nice meal, and engage in nice chit chat, when there’s so much other TV on that you can potentially be watching.
"I always find it’s witty and funny when you’re watching it, but I feel once I’ve watched one or two episodes? I’m done.
Is it a Must Watch? I’m saying it’s not."
