Scott says: "There are some brilliant sketches within the show"

"It’s essentially a sketch show, and it’s a pilot. And, it’s only 15 minutes long.

"It’s the perspective of two British Muslims and I think it sort of… just highlights the ignorance of the rest of society. And there are some brilliant sketches within this show.

"It is written by and stars Ali Shahalom and Aatif Nawaz. There is a sketch where you see them at an airport essentially being interrogated, racially profiled. But, they are so used to this. [They have] been there so many times; it doesn’t even bother them anymore.

"For a pilot, it was very strong. Normally, you get some pilots where they are trying to figure out what does and what doesn’t work.

"What I love about it was the way it got commissioned – sending emails to the BBC and directly to different studio heads, saying – “this is what we’ve been doing. Are you interested?"

Hayley says: "I haven’t seen anything like this in years"

"I thought it was interesting to see sketch shows with jokes coming from an angle that was entirely new to me. Usually, with sketch shows you can kind of see where it’s going but because this isn’t my culture, I am ignorant. There were jokes that hit me that I didn’t see coming.

"It’s kind of hard to judge shows based on a 15 minute pilot. And, I don’t know if there are any plans to make a series. Sometimes, pilots can seem a little bit stilted and try-hards. I don’t know if… I liked it well enough but it would be interesting to see what happens to it.

"It’s really hard to judge things from a pilot. But, this seems really promising.

"I haven’t seen anything like this in years. It’s probably, definitely, going to be compared to Goodness Gracious Me."
