Forces: Video playlist

A compilation of pushing and pulling forces. A variety of ‘real life’ examples are used, including jumping on a springy toy in a playground or hitting a ball.

Note: There is no narration in this clip.

As students watch this clip they could be encouraged to call out or hold up a flash card to show if a push or pull force is being exerted in this real life example. Alternatively, screen shots from the clip could be printed and students could sort these into two groups. Students could then be challenged to find a toy or object in the classroom which they can exert a push or pull force on.
