This clip could be used to introduce the work of a local councillor and local council services. Following the clip, students could form groups to discuss and list all the services run by the local council they have used in the last week.
The class could team up with one from another school is a different council in Scotland and compare the services the council provides, relating this to the size of population, demographics and setting of the council.
