In Spanish, adjectives usually go after the .

For example:

Es una canción (noun) maravillosa (adjective). - It’s a wonderful song.

La cantante tiene seguidores (noun) internacionales (adjective). - The singer has international fans.

In Spanish, adjectives must agree with the noun. For regular adjectives, change the o to a when using it for a feminine noun, and add s. for a plural noun.

MasculineFeminineEnglish
Singularmaravillosomaravillosawonderful
Pluralmaravillososmaravillosaswonderful

For adjectives that do not end in o, but end in a consonant, such as l, these do not change if the noun is masculine or feminine, but add es for a plural noun.

MasculineFeminineEnglish
Singularespañol español Spanish
Pluralespañoles españoles Spanish

For adjectives which end in z, the z is replaced by c in the plural.

MasculineFeminineEnglish
Singularfeliz feliz happy
Pluralfelices felices happy

Remember if you have more than one adjective in Spanish you need to add the word y (and) between the last two adjectives. Remember that ‘and’ becomes e when it is in front of a word beginning with i.

For example:

La canción tiene una letra emocionante y alegre. - The song has moving, cheerful lyrics.

Tiene un ritmo rápido e increíble. - It has a fast, incredible rhythm.
