Here are some useful questions about social media that you might need to ask if you make friends with German speakers.

Almost half of the population of Great Britain use social media (30.3 million), however in Germany there are 22 million users, out of a population of just over 80 million. This means that just a quarter of the population are social media users.
Over a third of all Austrians (3.2 million people) are frequently on social media and a quarter of the population in Switzerland (2.6 million users) have registered with some form of social media.
