Your assignment is worth 20 marks while the exam is worth 80 marks. This is a total of 100 marks which means your assignment is worth 20% of your overall mark. Obviously a good assignment can have a big influence on your overall grade.

The assignment requires you do conduct a piece of research. Once you have conducted the research you should write that research up in the assignment format.

From your written assignment you will have to create a resource sheet which you will then take into the formal write up session. In that formal write up session – under exam conditions – you will have one hour to write down a version of your assignment.
