Il y a six copines qui font du shopping et elles s’amusent beaucoup. Elles s’entendent très bien et elles rient ensemble. Je pense qu’elles sont de très bonnes amies.
There are six friends who are shopping, and they are having a good time. They get on well and are laughing together. I think that they are very good friends.

À mon avis, mes copains sont très importants et j’adore passer du temps avec eux. Je suis très sportive et je ne peux pas faire de sport avec ma famille car mon frère et ma sœur, ils n’aiment pas en faire. Par contre, mes copains adorent faire du sport et nous en faisons ensemble.
In my opinion, my friends are very important because I love spending time with them. I’m very sporty and I can’t do sport with my family because my brother and my sister do not like it. However, my friends love doing sport and we do it together.

Last week, I went to the cinema with my friends because it was my birthday. We watched an action film and it was excellent. However, I ate too much popcorn and I was ill!

Pour moi, mon amie idéale serait gentille, amusante et bavarde, car j’adore parler et rire avec mes amies ! D’un autre côté, je n’aimerais pas avoir une copine égoïste parce que je suis vraiment généreuse, et je pense que c’est important.
For me, my ideal friend would be kind, funny and chatty because I love talking and laughing with my friends! On the other hand, I wouldn’t like to have a friend who is selfish because I am really generous, and I think that that is important.

J’espère que oui, mais je ne suis pas sûre. Par exemple, maintenant, ma mère a beaucoup de nouvelles copines et elle ne voit plus ses amies du collège. Cependant, mon grand-père a un copain qu’il connait depuis cinquante ans, alors c’est possible. Je pense que quand j’aurai soixante ans, j’aurai la même meilleure amie que maintenant.
I hope so, yes, but I am not sure. For example, my mother now has lots of new friends and she no longer sees her school friends. However, my grandfather has a friend that he has known for 50 years, so it is possible. I think that when I am 60, I will have the same best friend as now.
