Moi, c’est Omar. Il y a un garçon dans ma classe qui est arrivé au début de l’année. C’est un refugié dont la famille a fui la guerre en Syrie. Il ne parle pas beaucoup le français et au début, je ne savais pas comment réagir. Il travaille dur et il ne se plaint jamais, malgré les problèmes auxquels il a dû faire face. Récemment, j’ai commencé à l’aider avec la lecture.
I’m Omar. There is a boy in my class who arrived at the beginning of the year. He is a refugee whose family escaped from the war in Syria. He does not speak much French and at first I did not know how to react. He works hard, and he never complains, despite the problems he must have faced. Recently I started to help him with reading.

Leurs parents ne trouvent pas de travail et ces petits mènent une vie difficile et dangereuse. Le manque de qualité de vie de ces gens m’a rendu triste et j’ai donné un peu d’argent à une association caritative qui les aide.
Hi, my name’s Nina. On Saturday I saw a documentary on TV about the life of children living in the streets all around the world. I was shocked by the poverty in some countries. There is a lack of jobs for their parents and these little ones lead a difficult and dangerous life. The low quality of life of these people made me sad and I gave some money to a charity that helps them.
