Negative and question forms in the present tense

Negative
To put a verbA word used to describe an action or state of being. into the negative in the present tense, put ní before the verb and aspirate / séimhiú In Irish, to aspirate / séimhiú is when the letter 'h' is placed after the first letter in a word. / séimhiú the verb.

To put a verb into the question form in Irish, put an before the verb and eclipse / urú the verb.
an + urú / eclipse
Here is an example of an eclipse / urú:
Baile Átha Cliath but i mBaile Átha Cliath
Not all letters can take an eclipse / urú. If the letter is not in the rule, don’t make any changes.
