You are speaking to your mum about a new pet. You will speak first.
1. Ask your mum if you are allowed to get a new pet.

Mum: Níl mé cinnte. Cén sórt peata?
2. Explain that you would like a new dog.
Mum: Cé a thabharfaidh aire don mhadadh?
3. Say you will take care of the dog.
Mum: Tá a lán aclaíochta de dhíth ar mhadaí.
4. Say that you will go for a walk with the dog every evening.
Mum: Tá sé sin maith go leor!
5. Thank your mum.
1. A Mhamaí, an bhfuil cead agam peata nua a fháil? – Mum, am I allowed to get a new pet?
2. Ba mhaith liom madadh nua. - I would like a new dog.
3. Tabharfaidh mé aire don mhadadh. – I will take care of the dog.
4. Rachaidh mé ar shiúlóid leis an mhadadh gach tráthnóna. – I will go for a walk with the dog every evening.
5. Go raibh maith agat a mhamaí! - Thank you mum!
