BBC Around the World

Mark Thompson launches the BBC Environment Action Plan. The BBC wants to hear your ideas of how you can make a difference locally. Are there some "quick wins" that will make a difference day-to-day for your team and office? Perhaps you and your colleagues can work together to think about some possible longer-term aims. Why not investigate what the local consumption is regarding water/waste/energy and transport for your office or bureau? For example, what percentage of waste is recycled in your building?
Understandably, we know that some of you face difficult circumstances on a daily basis, or perhaps the environment is not top of the list of priorities where you're working, but if you want to get involved we are happy to look at the various ways we can support you.
To find out how you can get involved and be part of the Environment Network email Katherine Everitt in BBC Workplace or email environment with any questions you may have.
Everyone can make a difference - wherever you are in the world.
