Father makes murder appeal
Roy Lawrence
The murdered boy's father is appealing to witnesses
The father of a 16-year-old boy murdered in Nottingham is asking for help in bringing his son's killers to justice.

Brendon Lawrence was shot dead seven months ago as he got out of a car in the streets of inner-city Nottingham.

Despite a poster campaign, lengthy police enquiries and a number of arrests, no one has been charged with his murder.

The teenager was killed in February as he got out of a friend's car on Watkin Street in St Anns.

10,000 reward

His father Roy Lawrence says he has no idea why anyone would want to kill his son.

Mr Lawrence says the past seven months have been awful for his family and he appealed for someone to come forward to help convict his son's killer.

"They could possibly be sitting where I am sitting now talking to the press.

"Just go out there and do the right thing, phone the police, see somebody.

The police have offered a 10,000 reward for information leading to the conviction of the murderer.
