Gunshots were fired after an argument between a group of men on Julep Avenue in St Anns at 1800 BST, police said. A few minutes later, a car pulled up outside a house on Hungerhill Road and shots were fired in the direction of a home. No one was hurt in either incident. In 2001, Nottinghamshire Police introduced armed vehicle patrols across the county as part of an on-going crackdown on gun crime. In April 2001, an 11-year-old boy was injured after shots were fired at a group of youths from a passing car in the Meadows in Nottingham.
